RightSide DPML Service Price Increase

As of April 17, 2017, pricing for a DMPL Renewal on any RightSide TLD will increase as follows:

Though prices are increasing in July, HEXONET is also working on adding features to our DPML service. Please stay tuned for more details.  Lastly, current owners of RightSide DPML Blocks should check to see if an advanced renewal is possible in order to save substantially ahead of the price increase.

 

RightSide to Accept 10 Additional IDN Scripts Across its TLD Portfolio

On March 29, 2017, RightSide will begin accepting second level registrations in ten additional IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) language scripts across its TLD portfolio. With this addition of more IDN support, over 200 localized languages are now possible.

Whois Privacy Services Consolidating (WHOISTrustee Lite Sunset)

As of April 1, 2017, HEXONET's Whois privacy service, will only be offering WHOISTrustee.  Resellers will only be able to sell WHOISTrustee and no longer sell the Lite version.  Customers currently subscribing to WHOISTrustee Lite may continue to use the service until it is terminated according to the applicable policies. Incoming Transfers of .NZ Domains Requiring Explicit Renewal

As of April 12, 2017 10:00:00 UTC, incoming transfers of .NZ domains that are expired or about to expire (within three days of expiration) will only be accepted with an explicit renewal ("PERIOD=1" or "PERIOD=1Y"). Incoming transfers without an explicit renewal (PERIOD=0 or no transfer period) will be rejected and result in an error.

 

.MAKEUP Price Increase - April 14, 2017

.MAKEUP just announced a price increase to the annual price of new .MAKEUP Domains which are registered as of April 14, 2017.

Afilias announced a price increase to the annual price of .INFO domains starting July 1, 2017.

 

.XXX, .ADULT, .SEX and .PORN Price Increase - September 1, 2017

ICMRegistry announced a price increase to the annual price of .XXX, .ADULT, .SEX and .PORN domains starting September 1, 2017.

HEXONET recommends renewing these domains ahead of their price increases.

Please note that HEXONET has no influence over these price increases, which are solely registry driven.  We do however recommend you review your current portfolio and renew, before the price increase, for multiple years, domain name you wish to keep.
